This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a great place to spend a night or two, and a day on the slopes of Montage Mountain is just what you need. There's whitewater on Spring Brook for all you adrenaline kick people; golf can be played at Lakeland Golf Club. For the duration                  of the days of summer highs here at Harding Pond get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's; night lows at Harding Pond throughout the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lackawanna River, and since you're here, you could also visit stunning Robinson Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Harding Pond a wet place; June is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture.
