Do stop by Hardies Lake while you're in this part of Pennsylvania. Cold Valley is a fine location to go to nearby, and why not a little side visit to Crouse Run. Summer at Hardies Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Comfort Inn North, and Spring Valley Lake Dam is not far at all from Hardies Lake. At Hardies Lake you always meet someone from Pittsburgh; golf can be played at Wildwood Golf Club.

Valley Lake is just a very short distance away. National at The Club at North Hills is a splendid location to get some rest, and Pittsburgh North Campground is a great campground nearby. Hardies Lake gets a normal amount of yearly
precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and January on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly keen on lakes, North Park Lake is one of those nearby, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Boyce Park.
