Gunpowder Falls is a splendid whitewater spot near Hanover Reservoir, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Kaiser Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Ski Roundtop in close proximity. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Hanover Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's while       overnight lows are usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Hanover Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. The high level of rain makes Hanover Reservoir a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You're sure to come across some smiling people from Gettysburg here, and a glorious location for whitewater                  paddling is Bermudian Creek.
