It's always fun to stop by Hamilton Lake. Barlow Hill is clearly visible from Hamilton Lake; Hills Creek State Park is a fine local campground. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hamilton Lake. Why not pop by Hamilton Lake Dam if you're here, and Comfort Inn Mansfield is a good place to get some rest. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Niles Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Tyoga Country Club is always a pleasure.

| | This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Babb Creek offers some great whitewater. The annual precipitation here at Hamilton Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through June, and January on the other hand is the driest. Why not camp at Canyon Country Campground since you're here at Hamilton Lake, and skiing at Ski Sawmill is one of those things you just ought to do.

Lake you can take a hike along the Oak Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Corning-Painted Post, Ny. High temperatures at Hamilton Lake throughout the warm months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools
down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows all through the winter for Hamilton Lake tend to be in the 10's. Going for a hike along the Cass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Stony Fork Creek.
