Go to Hamburg Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Through the summertime months highs here at Hamburg Reservoir reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Hamburg Reservoir is in the vicinity of Hamburg Dam which is a picturesque place absolutely worth checking out, and float down the rapids of Nesquehoning Creek in a kayak. If you need a spot to stay Microtel Inn And Suites Hamburg is a wonderful choice, and get soaked paddling on Lizard Creek.

close by hotel is Econo Lodge Northeast, and Blue Rocks can be observed from Hamburg Reservoir. Be careful coming to Hamburg Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return home again. Camping is available at Robin Hill Camping Resort,
and hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Mountain Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Marsh if
you're here.
The high level of rain makes Hamburg Reservoir a rather wet spot; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
