Do stop by Hallowood Lake while you're in this part of Pennsylvania. Any time is a perfect time at Hallowood Lake if you go for the outdoors. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Hallowood Lake called the Indian Trail, and if you need a place to stay Budget Inn and Suites is a tremendous choice. Hallowood Lake is a rather wet place frequently with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Going for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail is always a fine adventure. There's so much to do here at Hallowood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Timothy Lake Resort is a wonderful location for that.
This lake is so
wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paradise Creek, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from East Stroudsburg for sure. Summer brings highs in the 70's to
Hallowood Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Hallowood Lake are in the 10's. The slopes of Alpine Mountain
are so inviting noone can resist, and why not explore a swamp like Ivan Swamp if you're here at Hallowood Lake.
You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hallowood Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cranberry Run Campground,
and what would winter be without some skiing at Shawnee Mountain. This place is great, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do near Hallowood Lake. Why not stop at nearby Havemeyer Brook since you're here at Hallowood Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn East Stroudsburg is a tremendous location to spend a night or two.
