Griffin Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The sight of lovely Bell Mountain near Griffin Reservoir is pleasant; Montage Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. Ramada Plaza Hotel is a great spot to get some rest, and Elk Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. This place, Griffin Reservoir, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. | | are some exciting things to see; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lackawanna River. Griffin Reservoir frequently gets lots of precipitation; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Griffin Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Highland Camp Ground; good hiking is available along the Choke Creek Trail. Yeah, come here | |

to Griffin Reservoir for a pleasant time. Griffin Reservoir is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, How Kola Camp is a delightful site to camp nearby, and don't leave Griffin Reservoir without first going for a hike along
the Refuge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Griffin Reservoir, you could also pop by nearby Stevenson Pond, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Spring Brook. Summit Lake Creek is a delightful local
stream, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. For the period of the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Griffin Reservoir, and through summer nights
temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Griffin Reservoir. At Griffin Reservoir you always meet someone from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre,
and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Glen Oak Country Club is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Maple Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; you can go for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail.
