It's a great idea to explore Summit Lake Creek, it's near Griffin Reservoir; the skiing at Montage Mountain is fine. Not far from Griffin Reservoir, you'll locate Stevenson Pond which is a delightful lake, and hiking along the Choke Creek Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. A great site for whitewater       paddling next to Griffin Reservoir is Spring Brook, and the peak of Bell Mountain can be observed from Griffin Reservoir. Throughout the warm months at Griffin Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Griffin Reservoir dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Griffin Reservoir is a quite wet place frequently with a good deal of rainfall; the                  month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Griffin Reservoir there are plenty of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre. There's so much to do here at Griffin Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, How Kola Camp is a great place for that. This location is excellent, just explore all the cool things to do in the neighborhood of Griffin Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Ramada Clarks Summit Hotel is a great choice, and the Pinnacle Trail offers hiking at its best. Lackawanna River is a great whitewater spot close to Griffin Reservoir, and everybody close by loves skiing at Elk Mountain. Any time is a splendid time at Griffin Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Lakes are splendid; Maple Lake is a lake that's near Griffin Reservoir, and if you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Glen Oak Country Club.
