The beauty of Griff Lake is reason enough to stop by. Don't leave Griff Lake without first going for a hike along the Brant Trail, and you'll most likely meet some people from Indiana here. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Ridgeview Golf Course is always a pleasure, and a day on the slopes of Hidden Valley is just what you need.

| | End Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Tubmill Creek is a good whitewater spot close to Griff Lake, and you can stay the night at Forbes Trail Camp. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Griff Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mirror Lake Resort, and the snow is tremendous at The Springs at Laurel Mountain.

choice, and Bear Pond Hollow is nearby, and is a great site. There are perfect places to discover along the Darr Trail, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Conemaugh River.
Griff Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February.
For the period of the months of summer at Griff Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops
down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Griff Lake dip into the 10's.
