Grassy Meadow Run is a stream that you may bump into while here; Greenwood Dam is a scenic place. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Creek, and if you need a place to stay Ramada Inn Hazleton is a splendid choice. High temperatures at Greenwood Lake during the summer are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter       comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Greenwood Lake. On a good day at Greenwood Lake you can take a hike along the Valley Rim Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like White Birch Golf Course; since you're here you can take a hike along the Pinnacle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Greenwood Lake is not the only place nearby, Tuscarora Lake is                  a nearby lake, and if you came to camp Whitewater Raft Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Greenwood Lake mostly gets a good deal of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest month. Nesquehoning Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Greenwood Lake. There's so much to do here at Greenwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rosemount Camping Resort is a splendid site for that. If you get bored of Greenwood Lake, you could also check out close by Hauto Dam, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
