High temperatures at Greenville Reservoir during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Greenville Reservoir dip into the 10's. All the       water falling down from the sky makes Greenville Reservoir a wet place; the month with most of the rain is June; February on the other hand is the driest. You're probably hooked on lakes, Saul Run Dam Reservoir is one of those close by, and Greenville Reservoir is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Temple Grove Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby. Lakes are tremendous; Mathay Run Pond is a lake that's close to Greenville Reservoir,                  and Quarry Hill is clearly visible from Greenville Reservoir. During your visit to Greenville Reservoir you'll meet some folks from New Castle for sure. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sharon-Hermitage, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neshannock Creek. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
