If you are in Franklin county it's always a good idea to stop by Greencastle Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Greencastle Reservoir is right by the Sandy Ridge Trail; Greencastle Reservoir is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Mountain Farm Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Greencastle Reservoir. Hiking along the Hendrix Gap Trail is wonderful fun, and Twin Bridge Meadow Family Campground is a great campground nearby. The Warrior Trail offers hiking at its best; Antietam Creek - East Branch is a nice whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Ron Jaworski's Greencastle Golf Club is a good golf course nearby, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Antietam Creek. If you need a location
to stay Knights Inn Hagerstown is a perfect choice; if you're popping by from Chambersburg, you won't be the only one. Summertime highs at Greencastle Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down
to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Greencastle Reservoir night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
