Green Valley Farms Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Egypt Run is close to Green Valley Farms Lake and is always a diversion to visit, and there are other locations here than Green Valley Farms Lake, for example Kennett Square Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. All through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Green Valley Farms Lake, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. Courtyard By Marriott Newark-University Of Delaware is a perfect place to get some rest, and folks from Reading love to come here. Green Valley Farms Lake is a pretty wet place commonly with lots of rain; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Chester KOA is a great local campground. Lakes? Sure, Somerset Lake is in close proximity. A perfect place for whitewater paddling near Green Valley Farms Lake is Buck Run, and Koa Philadelphia Westchester is a good campground
nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brandywine Creek - West Branch; why not visit Green Valley Farms Dam while you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Newark, De, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Loch Nairn Golf Club.
