There's always Coleman Dam to stop at in close proximity to Graves Pond; after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn Scranton is a nice place to spend a night or two. Lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Heart Lake close to Graves Pond; a good nearby hotel is Days Inn Scranton PA. There's delightful hiking along the Pinnacle Trail; golf can be played at Skyline Public Golf Course. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Graves Pond reach the 70's;

Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do right next door to Graves Pond. Montage Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff; if you came to camp How Kola Camp is a wonderful place to
do that. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Graves Pond, for example Chapman Lake, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Lackawanna River. Kennedy Hill is stunning and can be seen
from Graves Pond, and camping at Sunrise Lake Family Campgrnds is always a brilliant experience. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and perfect skiing awaits you at Elk Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
A nice location for whitewater paddling near Graves Pond is Spring Brook, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Graves Pond; Refuge Trail is a brilliant local trail.
