It's always fun to stop by Goose Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Tanglwood is a glorious local ski area, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. The skiing at Alpine Mountain is pleasant, and camping is available at Ledgedale Recreation Area.

The amount of precipitation that falls at Goose Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are magnificent sites to look at along the Burley Inlet Trail, and the summit of East Mountain can be observed from Goose Pond.

just come on down to Goose Pond. You can run the rapids of Brodhead Creek next to Goose Pond, and at Lake Lenape Dam in the vicinity of Goose Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see. Good hiking is available along the
Lake Laura Trail, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from East Stroudsburg for sure. Through the warm months at Goose Pond highs are usually in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter this place
gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Goose Pond throughout the winter regularly plunge into the 10's.
Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club is a great golf course nearby, and Skytop Lodge is a great site to get some rest. Go for
a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail, and if you're here, you could explore Dark Hollow Run. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Goose Pond. Visiting Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and swamps like Black Ash Swamp are fun to explore.
