There is a fine hiking trail right next door to Goose Pond called the Burley Inlet       Trail; great skiing awaits you at Tanglwood. If you came for an overnight stay Ledgedale Recreation Area is a magnificent site to camp, and not far from Goose Pond you obtain some tremendous water scenery at Lake Lenape Dam.
