Goose Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Take a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpine Mountain is relatively near. You're sure to bump into some good folks from East Stroudsburg here, and naturally Dark Hollow Run is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Brodhead Creek, and an afternoon playing golf at Buck Hill Falls

This place, Goose Pond, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. After a long day outdoors Merry Inn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two; don't miss out on a glorious swamp; Black Ash Swamp is right here at Goose Pond. You don’t have to go far from Goose Pond to spot the water at Lake Lenape Dam; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. Goose Pond gets a common amount | |

Hiking along the Snow Shanty Trail is magnificent fun, and camping at Maple Rock Campsite is always a good experience.
Goose Pond is a perfect lake right next door to Goose Pond, and Goose Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Ledgedale Recreation Area is a perfect local campground. Summertime highs at Goose Pond frequently tend to be
in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Goose Pond.
At Goose Pond you can catch a glimpse of East Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
A tremendous nearby hotel is Skytop Lodge, and Delaware National Scenic River is a great national park. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Goose Pond. Tanglwood is a great local ski area, and going for a hike along the Lake Laura Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
