Glendale Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wagoner's Camping Park is a good local campground, and there are plenty of people from DuBois here at Glendale Lake. Summertime at Glendale Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the       sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Glendale Lake descend into the 10's. Be careful coming to Glendale Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's some interesting stuff to spot at Glendale Dam in the vicinity of Glendale Lake. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Clearfield Creek, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Altoona is a nice place to spend a night or two. The yearly rain here at Glendale Lake is about average;                  July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Chest Creek is so much fun, and Hampton Inn Altoona is a wonderful site to get some rest.
