Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Altoona, and float down the rapids of Chest Creek in a kayak. So many entertaining things to do at Glendale Lake, so little time. Curwensville Lake Recreation is a fine campground nearby. Glendale Lake gets a typical amount of rain; July is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. If you came for an overnight stay Zimmie's Campground is a great       place to camp, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by DuBois. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Glendale Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Glendale Lake. Do go to Glendale Dam if you're here at Glendale Lake, and paddling on Clearfield Creek is so much fun. This                  lake is so wonderful.
