If you are in Sullivan county it's always a good idea to stop by Glass Creek Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Loyalsock Creek close to Glass Creek Pond, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Bloomsburg-Berwick here. Budget Host Patriot Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest; Glass Creek Dam is a spot that is in close proximity to Glass Creek Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Irish Settlement Trail, and some of the water close by flows, like Big Run. For the duration of the months of summer at Glass Creek Pond highs are generally in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Black Hollow is a brilliant spot to visit in the vicinity of Glass Creek Pond, and Little Loyalsock Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. Glass Creek Pond is right by the Pole Bridge Trail; why not check out a swamp like
Dutchman Swamp if you're here at Glass Creek Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Glass Creek Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pioneer Campground is a nice place for that, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Towanda is a glorious choice.
