Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Meshoppen Creek; visit close by Loomis Swamp. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like MTN Maples Public Golf Course; let's not forget North       Branch Meshoppen Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Gardners Pond. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a great panorama of Avery Hill from Gardners Pond, and do pop by Lake Walter, it's a pretty lake. Gardners Pond is a good spot of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
