For the duration of the summertime here at Galilee Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Galilee Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski!       Mount Tone is a fine place to do that, and get soaked paddling on Callicoon Creek - East Branch. The high level of precipitation makes Galilee Pond a rather wet place; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Ski Big Bear, and the Schiff Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Galilee Pond                  has it all. Take a hike on the White Deer Trail, and an out of the ordinary thing to check out right next door to Galilee Pond is Brussell And Brunner Dam. Galilee Pond is right by the Steam Mill Trail, and you'll find a lovely lake called Beaver Lake. The Lodge at Woodloch is a nice location to get some rest, and while you're here, you could also take a look at delightful Brussell And Brunner Reservoir.
