Galeton Lake is a nice lake to visit. Galeton Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Stay the night at Ox Yoke Inn, and after a long day outdoors Lakeside Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. | | look at everything Galeton Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kearse's Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at Galeton Dam while you're here, and Acid Factory Hollow is another good site to check out nearby. Hiking along the Phoenix Trail is nice fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Clark Farm Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Galeton Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Cedar Run, and hey, Johnson Brook is a great local stream. Take a hike on the Dry Bottom Trail, and Slate Run is a great whitewater spot close by.
