This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Barnes Lake is in the vicinity of Frog Pond, and there's whitewater on Jacobs Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. You're almost certainly into lakes, Biddle Pond is one of those close by; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express IRWIN (PA TPK EXIT 67) is a magnificent       place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Frog Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Frog Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things next to Frog Pond. For you golfers we recommend nearby Lincoln Hills Country Club; the snow is perfect at Seven Springs. Dry warm                  beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Pittsburgh New Stanton, and why not head up to Boyce Park and strap some skis to your feet. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Frog Pond; all through July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Frog Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Madison Koa Kampgrounds is a wonderful place for that, and if you're dropping by from Pittsburgh, you won't be the only one.
