Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the East Branch Bruce Lake Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. During the warm days of summer at Freethy Pond highs are frequently in the 70's with overnight lows       in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Freethy Pond. The Settlers Inn is a splendid place to get some rest, and camping is available at Ponderosa Pines Camp. Freethy Pond gets a good deal of water; most of the rain falls through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Blooming Grove Trail, and a                  splendid spot to camp here at Freethy Pond is Countryside Family Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Freethy Dam is scenic and it's in the neighborhood of Freethy Pond; it's a great idea to take a look at Carley Brook. Bucks Cove Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you need a spot to stay Tanglewood (Vri) is a good choice. So many exciting things near Freethy Pond, simply amazing. Watts Hill is a peak you can make out from Freethy Pond. Having a great time at Freethy Pond is trouble-free. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Tanglwood since you're here, and Freethy Pond is right by the White Deer Trail.
