Francis E Walter Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Lehigh River, and close by you come across the Choke Creek Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Split Rock while you're here, and there are perfect places to explore along the Boulder Field Trail. Just can't get enough of Francis E Walter Reservoir.

50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's; nighttime lows at Francis E Walter Reservoir through the winter ordinarily sink into the 10's.
