Beautiful Fountain Lake has much to offer visitors. Arbutus Peak is a peak you can observe from Fountain Lake; swamps like Jimmy Kane Swamp are fun to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out nearby Conety Run if you're here at Fountain Lake, and camping at Fountain Lake is great fun, Nesco Manor is a great local campground. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Fountain Lake. There is a nice hiking trail near Fountain Lake called the Refuge Trail,

There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Bear Creek, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Wilkes-Barre is a fine choice. Going for a hike on the Boulder Field Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and why not camp at Lehigh Gorge Campground if you're here at Fountain Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Fountain Lake. | |

Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Fountain Lake.
While you're here at Fountain Lake you can play some golf at Alfortene
Golf Links, and there are plenty of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. On a splendid day at Fountain Lake you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Split
Rock. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Fountain Lake, too tremendous to be true. Comfort Inn Wilkes-Barre is a great site to get some rest, and do stop at Crystal Lake Dam since you're here.
This lake is so wonderful.
If you come at the right time of year, Lehigh River offers some nice whitewater, and you can hit the slopes at Jack Frost close by. The yearly rain here at Fountain Lake is about average; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
