This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Tanglewood (Vri) is a great site to spend a night or two, and a lake nearby is Kinneyville Pond. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Tone, needless to say you could also take a look at Mud Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Get wet paddling on Middle Creek -       Lackawaxen Tributary, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Lake Lorain Golf Club. The high level of rainfall makes Fork Mountain Pond a relatively wet location; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Fork Mountain Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally                  in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Fork Mountain Pond.
