     Forest Lake is a nice lake to visit. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be. Visit Rattlesnake Creek while you're here at Forest Lake, and if you need a site to stay The Lodge at Woodloch is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Central House Family Resort is a fine place to get some rest, and Delaware River is a good whitewater spot nearby. Delaware National Scenic River is one of the destinations next to Forest  
   Lake that are perfect to go to, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Crawford Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Forest Lake is good fun, Wilsonville Recreation Area is a good local campground; hey, Gotta ski right? Tanglwood is a great location to do that. Point Peter is reasonably in the vicinity of Forest Lake; there are other locations here than Forest Lake, for example Cobey Pond. Cattail Swamp is an interesting swamp close to
 
               Forest Lake, and why not camp at Lander's River Trips since you're here at Forest Lake.
For the period of the warm days of summer at Forest Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's; the nighttime is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Forest Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. What would winter be without some skiing at Ski Big Bear, and Forest Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Forest Lake. If the weather is nice here at Forest Lake, you can go for a hike along the Steam Mill Trail.
Forest Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. There is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Forest Lake called the White Deer Trail, and you can run the rapids of Lackawaxen River.
