Fawn Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sand Spring Trail, and you'll find a pretty lake called Lake Wynonah. Hiking is a popular thing       to do around Fawn Lake; Northkill Path is a good local trail; Blue Mountain Lakes is a brilliant local campground. Summer at Fawn Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Fawn Lake. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Fawn Lake. While you're here at                  Fawn Lake, you could also take a look at wonderful Schuylkill Haven Reservoir, and why not a little side tour to Long Run. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Pottsville is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Christmas Pines Camp Ground while you're here at Fawn Lake, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Pottsville for sure. An exciting thing to pop by in close proximity to Fawn Lake is Plum Creek Dam, and Fawn Lake is near Werts Hollow which is absolutely worth going to.
