Go to Falling Springs Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. A day on the slopes of Jack Frost is just what you need, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Falling Springs Reservoir; Refuge Trail is a tremendous local trail. Good hiking is available along the Pinnacle Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Lackawanna River. This lake is so wonderful. Springs Reservoir is a delightful idea, and a wonderful lake like Campbells Ledge Reservoir is a delightful place to visit. For the duration of the summertime months at Falling Springs Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the
70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's while Falling Springs Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. The snow is wonderful at Montage Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston Knights Inn.
