This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Cattail Swamp are fun to go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Fairview Lake; East Branch Bruce Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail. Fairview Lake Dam is a place
that is next to Fairview Lake, and the snow is perfect at Tanglwood. All the water falling down from the sky makes Fairview Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls through May, and February is when it's the driest.

don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary; Cricket Hill Golf Club is a golf course close by. During the summertime at Fairview Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's.
