Emigh Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; June is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. For the duration of the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Emigh Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows during the winter for Emigh Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is       so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn and Suites - Clearfield; going for a hike along the Slide Hollow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Rodeway Inn Clearfield is a great spot to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Emigh Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snow Shoe Park is a fine site for that. There are some fine whitewater spots on Mosquito Creek; Emigh Lake is a place with many visitors                  from DuBois. Have a good hiking adventure along the Black Bear Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Emigh Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woodland Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Moshannon River; some of the water nearby flows, like Cold Stream. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Emigh Lake.
