Emigh Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Clearfield is a great place to spend a night or two; at Emigh Lake you always meet someone from DuBois. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Morrisdale Dam since you're here, and pleasant hiking is available along the Slide       Hollow Trail. A great place to camp here at Emigh Lake is Woodland Campground; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Philipsburg Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Emigh Lake; Turkey Trail is a great local trail, and why not camp at Snow Shoe Park if you're here at Emigh Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn and Suites - Clearfield, and whitewater paddling                  is magnificent on Moshannon River. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. Some nearby water includes Cold Stream, and you're probably into lakes, Osceola Reservoir is one of those nearby. Get soaked paddling on Mosquito Creek, and don't leave Emigh Lake without first going for a hike along the Black Bear Trail. During the summertime at Emigh Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's.
