Lakes? Sure, Camp Cayuga Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Mount Tone in the vicinity; the Blooming Grove Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Elsie is right by the Boundary Trail; golf can be played at Honesdale Golf Club. There's good hiking along the White Deer Trail, and if you need a       place to stay The Settlers Inn is a wonderful choice. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Lake Elsie reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Elsie sink into the 0's. The yearly rain here at Lake Elsie is about average; during July this area sees the most rain, and February on the                  other hand is the driest. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Lake Elsie. There's so much to do here at Lake Elsie that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Ridge Campground is a perfect place for that, and Ski Big Bear is a very popular ski area close at hand. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary, and swing by Big Brook it's a magnificent place to stop at.
