High temperatures at Elm Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Elm Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at The Lodge at Woodloch; Little York Swamp is a swamp in the vicinity of Elm Lake. Be careful coming to       Elm Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Playing golf is lots of fun at Cricket Hill Golf Club; McConnell Lake Dam is not far at all from Elm Lake. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shohola Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Big Bear in the neighborhood. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Smith Trail, and there are other places here than Elm Lake, for example McConnell Pond. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Elm Lake. Delaware National Scenic River is a great national park, and as expected Billings Creek flows through this area. The Kinney Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Greeley Camp is a glorious site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Bush Kill Creek, and Tanglwood has good slopes and a friendly staff.
