Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Eldridge Lake is one of them. From a rainfall point of view Eldridge Lake is a rather normal place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Eldridge Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. | | lows in the 10's for Eldridge Lake. Beech Hill is a peak you can see from Eldridge Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Pine Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Sawmill while you're here. Just can't get enough of Eldridge Lake. Kearse's Campground is a good local campground; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Cross Trail. Eldridge Lake is not the only spot close by, | |

Beechwood Lake is a close by lake, and there's whitewater on Cedar Run for all you adrenaline people. Elklick Run is a wonderful stream that is worth going to, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Bend Gully Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Blue Run Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; you don't have to go far to enjoy East Beech Woods. You could also stop by Knoxville Reservoir if you're here at Eldridge Lake; it's close by; Kenshire Kampsite is a great campground nearby.

Canyon Country Campground
 | 16 miles away ...ed surroundings provides ample shade. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. No hookup to (20/30amp) E/W/S sites. We also have rustic and full bath cabins.
Our sites accommodate tents, pop-ups, travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes up to 45'. Our single goal is to provide our guests with the highest quality in service and hospitality, insuring that you will not be disappointed with your Canyon Country camping experience.
We are open April 15th until October 31st. Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance. We are located along the East Rim of the PA Grand Canyon with a hiking trail from the campground to the canyon overlook level at Leonard Harrison State Park being an easy 3/4 mile walk.
