Bear Trap Mountain is beautiful and can be observed from Egypt Meadow Lake, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Egypt Meadow Lake is Caffrey Campground.
And that's not all you can do here at Egypt Meadow Lake. A day on the slopes of Ski Big Bear is just what you need; do take a hike on the Brown Trail. Camping is available at Caffrey Recreation Area, and Egypt Meadow Dam is an interesting
thing to check out.
Whitewater paddling is great on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Caesars Cove Haven. Summertime highs at Egypt Meadow Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. All through the
dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Egypt Meadow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Fairview Lake is close by, and if you need a site to stay Tanglewood (Vri) is a glorious choice.
