All through the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Edwards Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Edwards Pond drop into the 10's. There's whitewater on Tubmill Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; skiing at The Springs at Laurel Mountain is one of those things you       just should do. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Going for a hike on the Laurel Highlands Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and camping at Edwards Pond is delightful fun, Girl Scouts is a delightful local campground. Chestnut Ridge Golf Club is a golf course in the neighborhood of Edwards Pond; nearby you stumble on the Clark Run Trail which is a great hiking trail. Cherry Run is a pleasant place to stop by, also Edwards                  Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There are splendid locations to look at along the Roger Mountain Trail, and Best Western University Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Edwards Pond is not the only location close by, Coke Company Pond is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - INDIANA is a good spot to spend a night or two. Mirror Lake Resort is a great campground here. Lots of rainfall falls at Edwards Pond; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
