Echo Lake is in close proximity to Echo Lake Dam which is a pretty site definitely worth taking a look at, and whitewater paddling is good on Pocono Creek. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Shawnee Mountain, and while you're here, you could also pop by charming Lake Poco. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Columbia-Days Inn is a good choice, and hiking is a popular       thing to do around Echo Lake; Camelback Trail is a nice local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hickory Lake Campground while you're here at Echo Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Stroudsburg is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Really good skiing awaits you at Alpine Mountain; a round of golf at nearby Great Bear Golf and Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. All the water falling down from the sky makes Echo Lake a wet location; of all                  the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. During the warm days of summer at Echo Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Echo Lake during the winter mostly dip into the 10's. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly abundant here at Echo Lake. If time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth taking a look at. Martins Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and nice hiking is available along the Indian Trail. So many amusing things right next door to Echo Lake, simply mind-blowing. Minis Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and there are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg here.
