There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mt Pncono Campground is a fine site for that; at Echo Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg. At Echo Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly       in the 30's while Echo Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lakeside Trail, and if you need a location to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a nice choice. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Airy Lodge; Echo Lake is not the only place close by, Lynchwood Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking                  adventure along the Indian Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Camelback is a fine place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Camelback Trail, and you can run the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hemlock Campground and Cottages, and if you've had enough of Echo Lake, Lake Carobeth is nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Echo Lake. Lynchwood Dam is wonderful and it's near Echo Lake; Comfort Inn & Suites is a wonderful location to get some rest.
