Lake Earnest is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River while you're here at Lake Earnest, and skiing at Ski Big Bear is one of those things you just must do. Be careful coming to Lake Earnest, you might not ever want to go back home again. Bush Kill Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot
close by. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go
skiing at Tanglwood while you're here. Belle Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Lake Earnest; if you need a spot to stay Shadowbrook Resort is a fine choice.
Lake Earnest gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of May
is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Lake Earnest reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Earnest temperatures sink to the 10's.
