Mackeys Run is a pleasant place to go to; camping at Hemlock Valley Campground is always a good experience. Summertime at Eagles Mere Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Eagles Mere Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Pioneer       Campground is a glorious place to do that; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Loyalsock Creek. Eagles Mere Lake is right by the Loyalsock Trail; Castle Rock is something you shouldn't miss if you're here.
