If you come at the right time of year, Brodhead Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Shawnee Mountain. For the period of the months of summer here at Eagle Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the       winter temperatures at Eagle Lake dip into the 10's. So many fun things to do at Eagle Lake, so little time. Do explore East Stroudsburg Dam while you're here at Eagle Lake, needless to say you could also explore East Stroudsburg Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. This spot is great, just explore all the exciting stuff to do close to Eagle Lake. There's so much to do here at Eagle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Timothy Lake                  Resort is a great place for that; if you've had enough of Eagle Lake, Lake Valhalla is close by. Eagle Lake frequently gets lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Budget Inn and Suites is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg here. This lake is so wonderful. Terra Golf Course is a golf course near Eagle Lake, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Pocono Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Eagle Lake; Smith Trail is a great local trail, and Delaware National Scenic River is a very splendid place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. The Burley Inlet Trail offers hiking at its best, and Marshall Falls is an inspiring location to stop by while here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Eagle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Vista Campground, and skiing at Alpine Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail.
