A visit to Eagle Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Stroudsburg is a great choice, and Eagle Lake is a place with many visitors from East Stroudsburg. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Eagle Lake; Smith Trail is a brilliant local trail. Eagle Lake gets lots of water; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | is a splendid local ski area, and Marshall Falls is an inspiring location to check out during your stay. Eagle Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Timothy Lake Resort is a great local campground, and good hiking is available along the Indian Trail. There's whitewater on Pocono Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers; if time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth going to.

hike along the Burley Inlet Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Terra Golf Course. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn and Suites, and East Stroudsburg Dam is a charming place, beyond doubt worth going to. So much fun stuff
to do at Eagle Lake, so little time. There's so much to do here at Eagle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Vista Campground is a great site for that; if you've had enough of Eagle Lake, Hallowood Lake is nearby.
Everybody close by loves skiing at Shawnee Mountain, and why not pop by close by Newton Run if you're here at Eagle Lake. Just can't get enough of Eagle Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend
Brodhead Creek, as expected you could also visit White Heron Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Summer at Eagle Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Eagle Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
