This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a stunning lake called Moose Creek Reservoir near Duck Marshes, and at Duck Marshes you always meet someone from DuBois. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Moshannon River, and nearby you stumble on the Hodag Trail which is a brilliant hiking       trail. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CLEARFIELD; since you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Tyler Reservoir. A large amount of rainfall falls at Duck Marshes; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Snooks Trail is always a nice adventure; if you came for an overnight stay Woodland Campground is a perfect place                  to camp. Through the long summer days at Duck Marshes highs are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Duck Marshes temperatures sink to the 10's. Parker Dam State Park is a delightful local campground, and if the weather is gorgeous, you get a good vista of Old Round Top from Duck Marshes. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Duck Marshes has to offer.
