     Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Diamond Lake is one of them. There's splendid hiking along the Tussey Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Great Trough Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Getting to Nelson Run from Diamond Lake is trouble-free, and everybody close by loves skiing at Tussey Mountain. The Pine Hill Trail offers hiking at its best, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Moshannon Creek.

   of view Diamond Lake is a reasonably common location; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. While you're here at Diamond Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Huntingdon, and Diamond Lake is right by the Brewer Path. High temperatures at Diamond Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's;  
               night lows at Diamond Lake throughout the wintertime frequently sink into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Camp Blue Diamond is a splendid local campground, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Huntingdon. So many entertaining things to do at Diamond Lake, so little time. Diamond Lake is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Hemlock Hideaway Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby; Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott State College is a pleasant location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
