Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Deer Lake. There's whitewater on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. Deer Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Deer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Secluded Acres Campground, and Deer Lake       is a place with many visitors from East Stroudsburg. During the warmest time of the year at Deer Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Deer Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Brown Trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Kleinhans Creek. There's                  so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ledgedale Recreation Area is a good site for that, and on a delightful day you obtain a great panorama of Briar Hill from Deer Lake. If you need a place to stay Tanglewood (Vri) is a good choice, and pretty scenery and good skiing is what you obtain at Ski Big Bear. Have a great hiking adventure along the Snow Shanty Trail, as expected you could also take a look at Beaver Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. So much amusing stuff next to Deer Lake, definitely mind-blowing. After a long day outdoors Caesars Cove Haven is a fine site to spend a night or two; why not take a refreshing hike along the Boundary Trail. You can run the rapids of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary near Deer Lake, and a lake nearby is Goose Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
