During the warmest time of the year at Deer Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while Deer Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Having a brilliant time at Deer Lake is uncomplicated. Hunters Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Loyalsock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Deer Lake, you could also pop by picturesque Mud Lake. Getting to Brunnerdale Run from Deer Lake is uncomplicated, and you can stay the night at Buttermilk Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to pop by some interesting stuff,                  pop by Ticklish Rock; a splendid close by hotel is Danville-Days Inn Conference Center. Don't leave Deer Lake without first going for a hike along the Laurel Ridge Trail, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Elk Creek. There's perfect hiking along the Ridge Trail; Deer Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Hemlock Valley Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby.
