Deep Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Mount Pocono Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby, and Deep Lake is right by the Lakeside Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Deep Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Deep       Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid choice, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Little Deer Pond is just a very short distance away. There are some great whitewater spots on Paradise Creek. Chateau Resort at Camelback is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, Lehigh River offers some splendid whitewater. Now, you                  may assume that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Deep Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deep Lake; Camelback Trail is a pleasant local trail, and Crescent Lake Dam has delightful water scenery. Beehive is stunning and can be spotted from Deep Lake, naturally you could also take a look at Crescent Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some nice people from East Stroudsburg here, and needless to say Sand Spring Run flows through this vicinity. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Indian Trail; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Sand Spring. Deep Lake gets lots of water; July is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. A good place to pop by in close proximity to Deep Lake is Bowers Gap, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Camelback. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Deep Lake.
