Paddling on Brandywine Creek - West Branch is so much fun; a golf course nearby is Arrowhead Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Daniel Boone Lake has to offer, you can camp at Warwick Woods Campgrounds; the Lenade Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Near Daniel       Boone Lake you locate the Buzzard Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and a stunning lake like Birdsboro Reservoir is a good place to visit. Through the warmest time of the year at Daniel Boone Lake highs are generally in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Daniel Boone Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. If the weather is gorgeous,                  you get a great view of Furnace Hill from Daniel Boone Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Reading here. Daniel Boone Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a large amount of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Do pop by Scotts Run Lake close to Daniel Boone Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and of course Hay Creek flows through this vicinity. Daniel Boone Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Warwick Woods Family Camping Resort is a nice place to camp nearby; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Douglassville. Just can't get enough of Daniel Boone Lake. Going for a hike on the Horseshoe Trail is always a perfect adventure, and scenic scenery and good skiing is what you get at Bear Creek. So much amusing stuff to do at Daniel Boone Lake, so little time.
