After a long day outdoors Caesars Cove Haven is a great location to spend a night or two; there's magnificent hiking along the Boundary Trail. Summertime highs at Curtis Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Curtis Pond descend into the       0's. So much fun stuff close to Curtis Pond, definitely mind-boggling. Ski Big Bear has great slopes and a friendly staff, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Curtis Pond; Brown Trail is a great local trail. A pleasant close by hotel is Comfort Inn Hamlin, and Hetzell Pond Dam has delightful water scenery. If you came to camp Valleyview Farm and Campground is a great spot to do that; Hoadley Pond is a glorious lake nearby. A glorious place for whitewater                  paddling right next door to Curtis Pond is Lackawanna River; swamps don’t sound that delightful but Wilder Swamp near Curtis Pond is relatively delightful. Curtis Pond gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Curtis Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort is a perfect place for that, and the Lakeside Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary near Curtis Pond, and there are other locations here than Curtis Pond, for example Hetzel Pond.
