The Pinnacle Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake close by is Lake Louise. Summertime highs at Cummings Pond usually tend to be in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally       in the 30's while Cummings Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Why not camp at Schaffer's Riverside Campgrnd while you're here at Cummings Pond, also Lake Louise Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here. Camping at Cummings Pond is delightful fun, Stony Mountain Campground is a delightful local campground; Applewood Golf Course is a delightful golf course close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to have                  fun. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Genetti Hotel & Convention Center is a splendid choice, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Lackawanna River. Cummings Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. At Cummings Pond you always meet someone from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, and Bowman Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful.
