There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch, and Camp Pocono Ridge is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region is a splendid spot to get some rest, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Indian Trail. This       lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Crystal Lake you'll meet some people from East Stroudsburg for sure, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. Lakes? Sure, Lehigh Pond is nearby, and swamps are exciting places and Pepridge Swamp close to Crystal Lake is no exception. Very picturesque scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Camelback; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Lakeside Trail. The Camelback Trail is a nice hiking                  trail close to Crystal Lake, and Pocono Peak Lake is a pleasant lake close by. Crystal Lake gets a common amount of rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. High temperatures at Crystal Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Crystal Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Crystal Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here; if you come at the right time of year, Wallenpaupack Creek offers some nice whitewater. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place!
