You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cruver Pond has to offer, you can camp at Stony Mountain Campground. If you need a place to stay Ramada Wilkes Barre is a good choice; Cruver Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Schaffer's Riverside Campgrnd is a wonderful location to camp nearby. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more       fun stuff to do here at Cruver Pond. Swale Brook flows through this vicinity; great hiking is available along the Pinnacle Trail. Cruver Pond is not the only site close by, Fish Pond Dam is a close by lake; playing golf is lots of fun at Shadowbrook Resort Golf Course. The annual rain here at Cruver Pond is about average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January. For the period of the warmest time of                  the year at Cruver Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Cruver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. At Cruver Pond you can distinguish Mount Airy, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Scranton—Wilkes-Barre. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Meshoppen Creek for all you adrenaline people.
